June 29, 2005 (Wednesday) — Minneapolis to St. Joseph

We slept in a bit, then headed to the Mall of America to stroll around and eat. It is raining, some thundersotrms. We loaded out bus with our great bus driver Gil, and headed to St. Joseph, MN, population 5000. We stopped briefly at the cafe to upload the web photos. Once arriving at the festival, we moved our stuff into the dorms and then had a rehearsal for the Opening Ceremony. After dinner in the gym (still raining, but very warm), we went to the Opening Ceremony, where we sang our French song in public for the first time. It went pretty well, but the abbey has a lot of echo and it was hard to hear. After the Opening Ceremony, the lightning started and it started really pouring, so we ran to the dorms, then to snack and then to bed.
