July 7, 2005 (Thursday) — Our last day in the USA for this tour

We slept in a bit, got waffles for breakfast, and even had a chance to swim. We headed to Central Presbyterian Church, where choirs such as Christ Church Oxford and St Paul's London have performed, and rehearsed our Notre Dame music. We had a picnic lunch with the other choirs, then back to the church for our rehearsal for the evening concert with the Herning Choir. The concert was packed, and both choirs sang well; it's a good match to have these two choirs togther. Each choir did their own set, and we sang two pieces together at the end. The concluding concert was up the street though not as well attended. We went there to see Florida, Gentlemen SIngers, and Gaudeamus sing. Gaudeamus was last, and their director had the Czech guys and our TBs come up for Loch Lomond as a finale.

Multiple simultaneous games of...hackysack! The perfect game for tour

Our afternoon rehearsal. There's the mic stand, taken from its cool case. A software problem prevented us from recording, but we hope to have the problem fixed for France

We sang our first piece from the balcony.

Herning starts the program.

Herning's men sing, with Mr. Fox as guest on the left end

The combined choirs sing Mozart's Ave Verum Corpus with Mr. Bille from Denmark conducting.

CV guys sing Poulenc.

PBA sings some spirituals. We had a mix-up on the ties and some got left on the bus, so we didn't sing with ties.

Hampton sings Loch Lomond again. It's definitely stuck in our heads for a couple days now.
