July 12, 2007— to Castelbrando

We drove to the Treviso area, in the Dolomites. We had lunch in the old part of Treviso. Our concert was in the chapel of Castelbrando, a castle on the top of a hill. The choir stayed in a really nice hotel, courtesy of our concert presenter. Because of an error in the rooming by the hotel, Mr. Kula and Mr. Fox stayed in the castle hotel. There is a funicular-type car to get up to the castle. The chapel was a tiny venue, and it was overflowing. Conttinuum showed off their new ties, which Mr. Kula got before we left. It was quite hot on stage and the boys sang well, so we got some gelato after the concert at the gelateria that is in the castle courtyard.
