August 29, 2006—Tuesday in São Paulo

Though we had a late night, we had to wake up early for the long bus ride from Sao Paulo to Rio. We played iPod karaoke on the way and mostly slept. When we arrived, it was raining. We had lunch at a churrascaria, then to the hotel for a quick swim before heading to the concert hall for the warmup and rehearsal.

The Teatro Muncipal is quite ornate, and Mr Brown took lots of photos while we were in rehearsal. Maestro Coleman conducted the concert. There wasn't any space in the balcony for us, which is a good thing since it meant the hall was full. There was no light booth like at the Sala. So, everybody had to sit on stage. Beacuse of the schedule, we were pretty tired on the whole and some guys were not looking so alert in rehearsal. It was an 8:30 concert so we gave everyone a shot of coffee before the concert (shhh! don't tell!). The audience was great, I sang as well.

After the concert we went back to the churrascaria for dinner (at about midnight), and the Boychoir shut the place down. Tomorrow we've got a few hours in Rio before we have to head back to SP for our flight home.
