We arrived at the Kodaly school early in the morning and were allowed to use the choir room for academics. Later in the morning, we practiced the Hungarian national anthem for the concert at the embassy, then switched our focus to the morning's concert for the school. Turns out nobody took photos of the concert on our cameras, but a photographer from the school was there and took a lot of photos. The school knows choir music; they have seven choirs, including the boys choir which is hosting us, and they were very appreciative of our concert. We sang for 45 minutes, and got more of the rhythmic clapping that is so common in Europe.
After lunch at the school, the boys had a free afternoon with their billets. Some went bike riding, some horseback riding even. Tomorrow we leave for Miskolc. These town names are not that easy to type.
