This morning we went to a cave pools place, kinda hard to describe. Cave pools? Thermal baths? It's more than caves, as you can see outdoor pools, some covered some not, and it seems it's pretty much a year-round destination. We got special bracelets and headed in. The water is about waist-high everywhere, and you can meander through the caves, and there's even one room taht we all called the "moon" room since it had balck lights and stars painted on their ceiling or something. All over the place we're seeing posters for our concert.
After about 90 minutes of wading/swimming, we got lunch there and then headed back to the dorm for a rest period and then rehearsal at the concert hall in Miskolc. It's a brand-new hall, very nice in every way, and we had ample rehearsal time. Because the lighting was good, the dressing room was conveniently located, and we had a little extra time, we got into uniform and took some photos in the concert hall for promotional purposes. We rarely have a good background, good lighting, everyone in uniform, and the time available to take photos.
The concert was okay, with the experienced guys really doing well, and the less experienced guys starting to lose gronud after a week of touring. The audience was very generous, and we did two encores, but despite their clapping, we stopped there since the only things left taht we hadn't sung were the Hungarian and US National Anthems (which we practiced for the Embassy tomorrow), and we didn't think it was appropriate to sing those.
Tomorrow we head to the big city.

At the bath/pool place. The outside pools were mostly closed for the winter. The indoor ones are warm and meander through caves |
