Lots of photos today!
This morning we had city tour of Cordoba with some shopping time. After the city tour, we went to the house of the Ninos choir director. Yes, she invited 50 people to her house for a BBQ. She also invited about a dozen of the girls over. They grilled lunch in the fireplace (see photo), and for a few hours, the guys had outdoor space to play, girls to meet, and great food. A disco broke out at the BBQ at one point even, and all had a great time. We had an afternoon rehearsal though, and many of the girls piled into our bus to head to the church for our rehearsal.
After our rehearsal, we had a rest period and the guys changed clothes, and again we started our concert later than expected due to a mass in the church. This church we're told is a landmark, as it is the oldest church in Argentina. It had much better acoustics than the previous night and we sang all a cappella music. Again, the Ninos opened for us and we all sang Carnavalito together at the end. Nobody had to walk off stage, though we're still working on watching and our stage presence. The singing, for the most part, is solid.
We had to scoot out relatively quickly after the concert so we didn't lose our reservation at the restaurant since the concert started late. We had a buffet dinner. Many of the girls joined us, and then after dinner we loaded on the bus for our overnight bus ride to San Juan.
