We had a late wakeup, and went to the San Telmo market for starters. It is Sunday, so most of the city is closed and there are lots of people at the outdoor markets. There were tango bands on the street, even with pianos they had brought. CDs are 10pesos.
We had heard about the ice cream at Freddo, so we stopped there when we went to the Recoleta district. We had some shopping time at the handcraft market, they rehearsal at Iglesia del Pilar, where our first concert was. It had great acoustics and was packed. Even the cultural attache for he US embassy was there. Then we raced over to the Fernandez Blanco museum for a concert in a unique setting. Our sound overwhelmed the room, but it was a good concert, especially coming right after another one.
We had dinenr at an Italian restaurant near the port, then back to the hotel.
