Bethany Edstrom

Humanities and Latin Teacher, Academic Dean and Director of High School Placement

Bethany Edstrom has been an educator since 1998 and a member of the PBA faculty since 2017. Her previous positions include teaching and administrative positions at several boarding high schools – Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, CT, Idyllwild Arts Academy in Idyllwild, CA, and Marianapolis Preparatory School in Thompson, CT – and she served as Academic Dean at Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Talented Youth’s Summer Program site at Nueva School in San Mateo, CA from 2015-17. At PBA, Ms. Edstrom loves teaching literature, history, writing, and Latin, directing plays, and overseeing the academic and high school placement programs. Her interests include fiction writing, reading, cooking, knitting, and dodging the sharp claws of her kitten, Ender.
