Science, Math, & Entrepreneurship Teacher
Carmen Martinez Utrera is from the South of Spain, where she earned master’s degrees in Pharmacy and in Education. After teaching a wide variety of science subjects in Spain, she moved to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, where she taught Spanish at the US Embassy, the United Nations, and Drexel University’s study abroad program. She has lived in the United States for seven years and has taught both science and Spanish in Santa Fe, NM and in the Bay Area. Carmen loves teaching and sharing her passions for interior design and Spanish culture. Carmen has two adult children and loves sharing her love for math and science with PBA’s young musicians!
