Ike Alexander (he/him/his) is a new member of the PBA faculty for the 2022-2023 season. However, he is not new to the PBA family, as he was a chorister in the after school program from 2007 – 2018 (thats over 11 years!). As a chorister, Ike went on many domestic and international tours, traveling to and performing in some of the world’s most iconic landmarks. He especially enjoyed being a part of Continuum, PBA’s high school a cappella group. Since graduating from Berkeley High School (class of 2018), Ike has been a counselor at the PBA Summer Camp, most recently being the Camp Director at our first camp back at The Bishops Ranch after two years of being unable to travel because of the pandemic. Ike attended the University of California Santa Cruz, where he continued to pursue voice performance and composition, being a member and eventually the Music Director of Cloud 9 A Cappella. He graduated in Spring of 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Concentration in Contemporary Practices. He looks forward to supporting all choir members and parents as we all learn and grow.
