Financial Aid at Pacific Boychoir Academy
While PBA’s tuition is modest when compared to other Bay Area independent schools, we want Pacific Boychoir Academy to be financially accessible for all families.
Financial aid is granted on a case-by-case basis. We safeguard the equity and confidentiality of your financial data by partnering with a third-party to evaluate financial aid applications.

Troubador Annual Scholarship
The Troubador Annual Fund awards an annual $20,000 scholarship to promising boy vocalists with a commitment to excellence in academics and musicianship.
Scholarship funds are awarded to boys registering for the 2024-25 academic year.
Award Criteria for Boys Grades 3-8
- Musical Ability
- Financial Need
- Strong Desire to Grow Academically and Musically

Attend a School Day at PBA
Experience a typical day at Pacific Boychoir Academy!
We encourage prospective students to attend a “Shadow Day”— where visiting boys “shadow” one of our student ambassadors. At the bell, prospective students begin a typical school day at Pacific Boychoir Academy!
During Shadow Days, families are invited to tour the campus and meet with our Academic Director. Our leadership team will be happy to answer your questions about PBA!
Or Join Us for Monday Night Dinner
Experience the long-standing tradition of Monday Choir Dinners PBA!
Join us at the Staff Table for a unique introduction to PBA! Monday Night Dinner is a relaxed setting and provides a glimpse into our school traditions and culture. PBA’s Music Director and leadership team will be on-hand to answer questions.
After dinner, we host guests for a tour of PBA’s campus — and take a peak into our boys evening rehearsal!

Academic & Musical Assessment
Day School applicants return to PBA for a placement interview with our Academic and Music Directors.
Placement interviews are part of a comprehensive assessment process — to help PBA individualize the academic strategy for each student.
We encourage families to provide additional information about their boy’s academic, emotional, and social needs.
