Emerging conductor Zach Salsburg-Frank brings a dynamic blend of vocal and orchestral expertise to PBA’s music program. He has conducted and assisted on many prominent opera productions all over the world, including Conductor for Chandler Opera’s La traviata and Il Barbiere di Siviglia, and Apprentice Conductor for the Canadian Opera Company’s La bohème and Seattle Opera’s Tristan und Isolde. 

Zach is an alumnus of Pacific Boychoir Academy! He entered day school at age 9 and continued to sing in PBA’s high school ensembles through 2017. After graduating, Zach continued to support PBA in a variety of roles.

He is committed to cultivating a community at PBA that is “deeply connected to meaningful music-making.” Zach is eager to support choristers “learning to become the most well-rounded, curious and disciplined young adults and future leaders.”

Zach holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice, with a minor in Music Education, from McGill University and a Master of Music in Conducting from Arizona State University.
