Performance Quick Tips
Uniforms
Every ensemble has its own particular performance attire. See your choir ensemble page for complete details – See Resource Guide.
Gig Sheets
The Concert Manager will email a Gig Sheet for every performance & special rehearsal. The Gig Sheet will include date, location, call time, uniform requirements, transportation method, what to bring and any other special instructions that apply to the particular event. Gig Sheets can also be found on the specific ensemble page.
Drop Off / Call Time
Your chorister’s call time will be approximately two hours prior to the performance (refer to concert Gig Sheet). The dress rehearsal is closed, so plan accordingly. This is a great opportunity to relax with other chorister families at nearby venues.
Pick Up
Following a performance, parental check-out with the music staff is mandatory for choristers under 18. If a chorister is to be released to a guardian other than their parent, please make prior arrangements naming the guardian through attendance@pacificboychoir.org.
Concert Seating
Unless you are a season ticket holder with reserved seating, you will be able to secure seats for your party when the doors open for the concert, approximately 30 minutes before the start of the performance.
Tickets & Season Tickets
Tickets are available online and at the door. Ticket purchase and pricing information for all concerts is available at Pacificboychoir.org. Comp tickets are provided to concert volunteers only (Sign ups in Curacubby!). Season Tickets provide admission to all PBA self-produced concerts, include two complimentary tickets and reserved seating.
Performances & Action Items
Choristers are expected to attend all performances and special rehearsals (off-site dress rehearsals at performance venues). Performance dates are included on the ensemble’s calendar and in their memos. Parents must inform the Choir Director and Concert Manager of any conflict within one week of the release of the season calendar.
Additional performances are scheduled in the community to provide performance experience for choristers. When a new performance is added to the calendar, parents will receive an email notification. Parents must inform the Choir Director and Concert Manager of a conflict within one week of the notification.
In case a new performance is added to the calendar with less than two months before the performance date, an Action Item will be sent via email. Please respond to Action Items in Curacubby sign ups within 48 hours, unless otherwise stated. Your prompt attention to Action Items will allow us to determine if we will have enough singers to accept a performance.
