What makes PBA camps special?

Pacific Boychoir camps are focused on creating a fun atmosphere for campers to immerse themselves in music for a week and build a new community of friends, colleagues, and musicians through creative activities planned by our staff. Every day, campers will have a full group rehearsal to begin the day, followed by activities led by our counselors our music staff. Campers will receive a ‘camp survival kit’ that has all of the necessary materials for the week.

Our camps are run by PBA alumni, who understand the intricacies of the choir and create programming based on their own experiences. Non-musical activities will include many skills that we feel all young people should know, such as cooking, car maintenance, tying a tie, packing a suitcase, and so much more!

Overnight Camp is an integral part of the Pacific Boychoir program.., with non-stop activities, boys come away with strong friendships and stories to last a whole year.

The week is a time for boys to immerse themselves in music, activities, and friendship. In one week, the boys learn as much music as they would in two months of regular rehearsals by working on repertoire for the coming year and getting small group lessons in music theory.

Aside from music, the amazing counselors run non-stop activities including:

  • Campfire
  • Capture the flag
  • Movie night
  • Nighttime scavenger hunt
  • Daily swimming (2 certified lifeguards)
  • Manly Arts (archery, how to change a tire, tie tying, and other manly skills)
